JumpStart is an in-school youth career focused program based out of Maine Township High School District 207, federally funded through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act ( WIOA ).

Under WIOA, funds are provided to local workforce areas to deliver a comprehensive array of services that focus on assisting in-school youth, who may have barriers to employment, prepare for post-secondary education and careers, attain educational and/or skills training, credentials, and secure work experience.
