JumpStart provides paid work experiences to youth looking to gain job skills in certain fields
What to expect

JumpStart pays eligible youth wages and payroll taxes while taking on an internship in local business or organization

Partners will provide a meaningful work experience to youth to improve their work-readiness skills and introduce youth to best-practices within the organization and industry

Managers are asked to treat the youth as a “real” employee

Career Advisor will check-in to ensure that expectations are being met
-
Experiences are typically 15-20 hours per week, for a total of 120 hours
